The Best Website to Shop for Your Circle Lens!

Where to Shop for Your Circle Lens

AAlens.com vs. Contactlensxchange.com

AAlens.com vs. Contactlensxhange.com vs. Softlenseye.com

Folks,

I know that in a few recent years circle lenses have become one of the most popular options for girls and even for guys to wear on a daily basis. Let me tell you this, they are super convenient (maybe when you'are a pro at putting them on and taking them off...) to be used as a form of cosmetic.  You don't want to leave the house when your face makes you look like you've just woken up, but you really don't have time to put the makeup on besides from just BB Cream or a swirl of powder.  Circle lens is your SOLUTION!  They brighten your eyes - you pupils, instantly! They give you that sharp look in your eyes and more dolly like as well.

Anyways, moving on... in my years of searching for the right lenses that can be worn daily and ultimately, for the right source to shop for these. I think I have found one and that I am happy to share this with everyone who is looking for the same purpose.

Before I even chose a website, I usually shop around a little bit at other ones just to compare the prices. These websites that I have found myself often go back in to check and compare prices are pretty expensive:

  • Honeycolor.com
  • Candylens.com
  • Pinkparadise.com
  • Eyecandylens.com

Softlenseye.com

I started by order relationship with this website since 2009 and they offered really good deals.  They are an online company that bases in Malaysia. Prices circle lens, shipping costs and wait time were reasonable (not sure if they still do... Haven't ordered from them in a few years). But I stopped because I found a better website that, at the time, offered a better deals on the lenses that I liked to try.

My order history with Softlenseye.com

Contaclensxchange.com

These guys have pretty good of a selection and variety of circle lenses. So I started to order my lenses from them, and you can actually read my review here on One-Day Acuvue Define (Vivid, Accent, and Natural Shine style) --> http://www.fashionpassionbeauty.com/2012/04/1-day-acuvue-define-accent-style-vivid.html

I've been pretty happy with them since 2011 until this year, I have realized how much I've been paying for shipping charges. Honestly speaking, I think they overcharge the shipping! They're not the only merchant that I have ordered my products from Singapore, and I know that for it doesn't cost that much to ship something from Singapore to the U.S.  They said it's "Registered Air-Mail," but quite frankly, it takes the same time for the parcel to get here as regular mail, as I have ordered from other Singaporean merchants before with the same wait time, only paying less in shipping.

Check out all the shipping costs that I paid:

In addition, their Johnson & Johnson, Bausch & Lomb, and FreshLook lenses are more expensive than AAlens.com. I know it's about $2 difference for a box and I understand that not all merchants could negotiate the same prices from the manufacturers. But to pay a lot more for shipping when it takes the same time to get here, just doesn't make sense to me!

I mainly looked at the Johnson & Johnson, Bausch & Lomb Naturelle and FreshLook One-Day, because these are the brands that I have either used or wanted to try.
  1. Johnson & Johnson 1-Day Acuvue Define lenses: $35.99/box with 30 pieces
  2. Bausch & Lomb Naturelle lenses: $35.99/box with 30 pieces
  3. FreshLook One-Day (Focus Dailies Softcolors): $13.80/box with 10 pieces

Here's a scenario that I did before I made my last big purchase:
If I was to order 2 boxes of each of these: 1-Day Acuvue Vivid Style, Natural Shine style, Naturelle Back, and Naturelle Brown, this would be my total and the shipping cost from Contactlensxchange.com

Total:  $323.84

Now, let's evaluate AAlens.com Prices and Shipping....

AAlens.com

An online company based in Singapore also. Here's what AAlens have for their prices for the 3 brands that I was interested in purchasing:
  1. Johnson & Johnson 1-Day Acuvue Define lenses: $33.50/box with 30 pieces
  2. Bausch & Lomb Naturelle lenses: $33.50/box with 30 pieces
  3. FreshLook One-Day (Focus Dailies Softcolors): $12.99/box with 10 pieces

Here was the scenario that I did to compare before making a purchase with AAlens.com:
If I was to order 2 boxes of each of these: 1-Day Acuvue Vivid Style, Natural Shine style, Naturelle Back, and Naturelle Brown, this would be my total and the shipping cost from AAlens.com.

Total:  $280
I SAVE $43.84 for ordering my lenses at AAlens.com, instead of Contactlensxchange.com. In addition, they're so nice that they give me extra lenses since I made a huge order.

Conclusion:

I think you'd be better off ordering your daily disposable circle lenses at AAlens.com, since the prices and shipping are much cheaper.  It adds up, especially if you are planning to order your contacts in bulk. In the long run, it'd save you more money then any other ones.
