What are Benefits of Glutathione? Benefits and Risks.

Glutathione (GSH) is a chemical molecule that is naturally produced by your body. It is an antioxidant, a powerful one because not only it neutralizes free radicals but it also have the ability to regenerate itself to fight other free radicals in your body.

Benefits:

•  GSH stabalizes other Vitamins that allows them to do their job. While certain antioxidants work with certain part of the body, GSH provides support to all parts of the body.

•  GSH is anti-inflammatory.
•  Protects and strengthens our immune systems to fight bacterias and viruses effectively.

•  Slows down aging. Many researchrers have found that aging relates to diseases such as heart failure, stroke, Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, and cancer. When your GSH level is high, it mops up the free radicals that caused harm to the body and cells.

•  Improves the condition of skin, hair, and nails. It allows the collagen in our skin to stay active preventing it from premature skin problems. It also gives the skin a glow by keeping it moist, supple, and inflammation free.

•  Creates resistance to UV radiation.
•  Supports your detoxification process of the body.

•  Increases energy in our body. GSH enables the cells to be fully charged, enhancing muscle strength and endurance. It is actually in the whey protein shake.

•  GSH helps repair damaged cells. Our body is constantly under environmental toxin attacks, which cause free radials to enter the body stealing electron from other cell, which can in turns attack the nearest stable molecule. It then, becomes a cascade effect with hundreds other nearby molecules. This mutate process is also known as cancer. GSH helps to prevent this from happening, because it also repair damaged DNA by replacing the missing electron. A high level of GSH reduces the number of cell mutation in the early stage.

Risks and Side Effects:

•  Taking glitathione in a reasonable amount appears to be safe.
•  It should be avoided in people with milk protein allergies and those who have organ transplant.
•  Though it's good for your body, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use it.
•  Do not inhale glutathione if you have Asthma, it can increase some asthma symptoms.
•  In Asia, it is said to create some skin whitening as a side effect.
