Best Kept Red Carpet Makeup Secrets!

#1
Makeup artist and director of the Vincent Longo cosmetics revealed:
When doing makeup for celebrities before big events, I always make sure to stain the lips and cheeks before applying foundation. So if their makeup wears off during the night, the stained cheeks and lips will continue to glow from underneath.
 #2
Blot your face with using blotting papers to keep makeup intact, instead of powder every time you refresh your makeup because it will make it look cakey.

#3
Cream blushes and cheek stain will give your face a rosy glow that looks super natural. Use fingertips to blend the products in a circular motion. Mauves and burgundy look most flattering on darker complexion. Peaches and golden hues look amazing on fairer complexion. Coral shades look best on medium skin tone.

#4
Contouring. Apply a blush or bronzer along the cheekbone following our natural cheek line. Lightly swipe a highlighter above and below the blush or bronzer. This will create an instant face-flattering contour.

#5
Fake a tan by lightly apply a light-reflective golden brown bronzer to the forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin for an overall sun-kissed look. Be careful not to go too dark!

#6
Long, full lashes. Start with a mascara primer, this will prime your lashes adding a more voluminous look to it. Then use apply a lengthening mascara and follow up with a thickening mascara.

#7
Apply concealer around your lips to redefine it. Then, apply clear gloss on the center of your lips after you've put the lipstick on to create a plumper effect.

#8
Apply lipstick with a lip brush and then a coat of translucent powder. This will help your lips stay on all day long.
