Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

I've gotten the 2.5 oz (75 ml) which is the smallest size of the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer and been using it for approximately 1 and a half month now. It is a day-time moisturizer and the great thing about this product is that it also comes with or without an SPF 15.

It is really for all skin types and also for people who want to restore moisture to their skin or need superb moisturization. It also helps to soften and condition without leaving residue of oiliness on skin. This product uses Squalane-based, which is a restorative botanical oil that helps keep the skin healthy, extra soft and supple.

Key Ingredients

  • Squalane
  • An emollient derived from olives
  • Oils derived from Avocado, Apricot Kernel, and Sweet Almond.

Tina's Verdict and Personal Experience:

I got the one with the SPF 15 and personally like to use it in the morning as an moisturizer and to prep my skin before putting on makeup. It has a lightweight formula but at the same time feel very moisturizing and it absorbs pretty fast, too. It also gives my skin that healthy overall glow, making my skin so smooth. All you need is a dime size in the morning and you're good to go. I love-love this moisturizer and definitely will re-purchase if I have a chance to (knowing me... I'd probably be on my voyage of discovering new moisturizer).

Rating: 5/5

Update, as of Dec 18, 2012: I've been using this all summer and it was still really good, until there came the winter. Right now it is in the middle of the winter and I feel like this Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer doesn't provide my skin enough of the moisture that it needs. So, this moisturizer may be perfect for the summer, but if you were to buy or use it during the winter, you might need something else that is a little thicker and providing more moisture.
